Description Of Change: The new fuel valve has stud mounts and allows for improved sealing between the butterfly plate and the bore.
Adaptable To: The new 472-8429 Fuel Valve Gp replaces the former 453-6077 Gas Control Valve for engines with ADEM 3 ECMs.
The new 468-2639 Fuel Valve Gp replaces the former 453-6078 Gas Control Valve for engines with ADEM 4 ECMs.
The new fuel valve is adaptable to the above engines back to first production.
The required parts for installing the fuel valve are listed in Table 1.
