A New Coolant Elbow Assembly is Now Used on Certain C18 Marine Engines {1059}

Description Of Change: The new coolant elbow and adapter use STOR fittings which improve the robustness of the coolant assembly process. The new coolant assembly also uses one less adapter, which reduces potential leak points.
Adaptable To: The new 489-0989 Elbow and 371-7166 Elbow Adapter replace the existing 118-7374 Elbow, 000-7246 Elbow Adapter, and the 053-2313 Adapter. The new coolant elbow and adapter are adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above.
Refer to Table 1 for the new and former part numbers.
