Cell Level Faults

Fault Name  Description  Troubleshooting Steps 
Cell Anode/Cathode - DD2 Time Out  The cell exceeded the normal time for maintenance.   1. Replace the cell. 
     
Cell Anode/Cathode - Relative Performance Low  The cell has a low performance when compared to the other cells in the module. The cell likely has an irreparable failure.  1. Replace the cell. 
     
PIT Board - Anode FET Failure (Short)  There is a short circuit on the anode FET of the cell.  1. Replace the cell.
2. Execute the open and short circuit detection command after replacement of the cell. 
     
PIT Board - Bypass FET Failure (Impedance)  There is a high impedance on the bypass FET of the cell.  1. Replace the cell.
2. Execute the open and short circuit detection command after replacement of the cell. 
     
PIT Board - Bypass FET Failure (Open)  There is an open circuit on the bypass FET of the cell.  1. Replace the cell.
2. Execute the open and short circuit detection command after cell replacement. 
     
PIT Board - Bypass FET Failure (Short)  There is a short circuit on the bypass FET of the cell.  1. Replace the cell.
2. Execute the open and short circuit detection command after cell replacement. 
     
PIT Board - Cath./OEE FET Failure (Short)  There is a short circuit on the cathode or OEE FET of the cell.  1. Replace the cell.
2. Execute the open and short circuit detection command after cell replacement. 
     
PIT Board - Cathode FET Failure (Impedance)  There is a high impedance on the cathode FET of the cell.  1. Replace the cell.
2. Execute the open and short circuit detection command after cell replacement. 
     
PIT Board - General FET Failure  There is a FET failure on the cell.  1. Replace the cell.
2. Execute the open and short circuit detection command after cell replacement. 
     
PIT Board - LIN Communication Failure  There is no LIN communication to/from the cell.  1. Execute the address cells command.
2. If the fault persists, replace the cell. 
     
PIT Board - OEE FET Failure (Impedance)  There is a high impedance on the OEE FET of the cell.   1. Replace the cell. 
     
PIT Board - OEE/Anode FET Failure (Open)  There is an open circuit on the OEE or anode FET of the cell.  1. Replace the cell.
