Harness and Cable Replacement Procedure

Note: In the following information, the word "harness" will be use instead of "harness/cable".

1. Verify that the system is shut down and that all safety procedures are followed.

2. Trace the desired harness so that the routing path and securing locations are known.

3. Remove all cable ties and other securing hardware from the harness.

4. Disconnect the harness from all endpoints.

5. Remove the harness taking care not to pinch or pull on any of the connectors.

6. Install new harness using the reverse order of removal.

7. Route the harness using the same path as the original path.

8. Secure the harness using new cable ties and the existing securing hardware.

9. Connect all harness endpoints.
