Cathode Fan - Replace

1. Power down the unit prior to performing work.

2. Disconnect the cathode fan plug from the harness.

3. Remove the recirculation adapter screw and slide off the adapter.

4. Remove the screw holding the cathode fan adapter and baffle assembly in place. Remove the assembly from the cabinet and set on a stable surface.

5. Remove the two screws joining the baffle and cathode fan and remove the fan from the assembly.

6. Remove the screws holding the cathode fan to the adapter.

7. Install the new cathode fan using the reverse order of removal. Be sure the flow direction matches illustration 5.

8. Install the cathode fan adapter and baffle assembly into the cabinet using the reverse order as removal.

9. Torque adapter screws to 0.3 N·m (3 lb-in).
