A New Valve Cover Base Is Used on Certain C15 and C18 Commercial Engines {1120}

- C18 (S/N: WKB1-UP; PLE1-UP; CKH1-UP; C1J1-UP; JHL1-UP; GES1-UP; JKX1-UP; T2P1-UP)
Description of Change: The new valve cover base has an improved seal groove to allow for better sealing capability when using the existing seal.
Adaptable To: The new 419-3614 Valve Cover Base replaces the existing 289-8215 Valve Cover Base. The new valve cover base is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above.
Note: The new 419-3614 Valve Cover Base uses the existing 272-0390 Seal .
Note: The new 425-6526 Engine Harness As must be used with the new 419-3614 Valve Cover Base .This change is effective for the serial numbers listed in Table 1.
