Engine News SEBD9961, 26 September 2014, "A New Tube Is Now Used for Certain 3512 and 3516 Marine and Petroleum Engines". Disregard the previous article. The article was revised to update the effective serial numbers.

Description of Change: The new tube is manufactured 3 mm (0.118 inch) shorter to prevent fretting and leakage issues.

Adaptable To: The new 455-9406 Tube is a direct replacement for the existing 188-0324 Tube .

The new tube is adaptable to the above engines back to first production.

The new parts needed for installation are listed in Table 2.
