There are new OCT98 software files released for the Heavy Duty 1999 Model Year truck engines. This software is for the engines listed above. The OCT98 software requires the use of either Cat Electronic Technician (ET) Version 2.3 or Electronic Controller Analyzer Programmer (ECAP) Version 2.3. The C-10, C-12, and 3176B Flash File Cross Reference and the 3406E Flash File Cross Reference in the FIND system reflects the new ratings, flash file part numbers, and interlock codes which are available for download.
