Use Only Clean Engine Oil To Lubricate Unit Injector O-Rings{1290}

There have been some reports of rust being found in the area below 9X-7418 O-Ring Seal (2) on the electronic unit injectors. This rust is the result of using a water base lubricant to lubricate the unit injector o-ring seals prior to installing the unit injector into the engine. Do NOT use a water base lubricant on these o-ring seals. Use ONLY clean engine oil to lubricate the unit injector o-ring seals (1) and (2) prior to assembly.
Location of 9X-7419 (1) and 9X-7318 (2) O-Ring Seals on unit injector.
