Description of Change: A new water seal is now used in all 3400 cylinder head assemblies. The new water seal has a stainless steel sleeve surrounded by HSN (Highly Saturated Nitrile) rubber material. This rubber material is more resistant to coolant and oil than the former EPDM (Ethylene-Propylene Diene Monomer) and silicone seals.
Adaptable To: The new 3E-6772 Water Seal is a direct replacement for the former 4W-1055 and 7C-9912 Water Seals. The former seals are canceled.
