Each cap has a number. Each cap must be installed in the same position as the correct number on the side of the cylinder block pan rail. 1. Before assembly, lubricate the threads completely with clean engine oil. 2. Hand tighten bolts in the tapped holes. 3. Tighten bolts in the numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 3 to 4. Again, tighten each bolt to an additional angle of 180 ± 5 degrees. |
