Air Starting Motor - Remove and Install

Ensure that the engine cannot be started while service work is being done. This is very important when the engine is equipped with an Automatic Start/Stop System. On the engines that are equipped with an air starting system, close the air supply valve to the air starting motor before service work is begun. |
- Remove hose assemblies (3) and (4).
- Remove solenoid assembly (5).
- Remove bolts (1).
- Remove air starting motor (2).

- Install air starting motor (2) in the reverse order of removal.
