Description Of Change: The bodies on the 773F, 775F, and 777F Off-Highway Trucks will be serviced with the bodies used on the current production 773G, 775G, and 777G Off-Highway Trucks.
The 777F and 777G Off-Highway Trucks use the same body so the replacement body will be an exact fit. No modifications are required to the mounting locations. The 777G body will come with a bracket welded to the body. The bracket is used to locate the magnet required to actuate the body position switch. The 777F chassis wiring group will have to be updated. Remove and replace the existing lever actuated switch with the magnetic body position switch required for the 777G body. Refer to the rework procedure provided in Special Instruction, REHS6086, "Procedure to Install an Updated Body Position Switch on Certain 777F" Off-Highway Trucks. This publication provides a parts list and installation procedure for the new sensor for the magnetic switch.
The 773F and 775F truck bodies have the same mounting locations as the 773G and 775G truck bodies. Changes have been made to the front wall of the 773G and 775G truck bodies resulting in a different rocker pad and exhaust connection locations. The difference in locations will be compensated using spacers that will be welded to the body when the body is ordered. Refer to the tables below when ordering a replacement body. The 773G and 775G bodies will come with a bracket welded to the body. The bracket is used to locate the magnet required to actuate the body position switch. The 773F and 775F chassis wiring groups will have to be updated. Remove and replace the existing lever actuated switch with the magnetic body position switch required for the 773G and 775G bodies. Refer to rework procedure given in Special Instruction, REHS7575, "Procedure to Install an Updated Body Position Switch on Certain 773F and 775F" Off-Highway Trucks. for the parts list and installation procedure of the new sensor for the magnetic switch.
Adaptable To: This change is adaptable to the serial numbers listed above.
