Description of Change: The original air shutoff has flanges bolted to the body and gaskets in the joints between the flanges and the body. The air lines are bolted onto the flanges.
The new air shutoff has a body with cast flanges so there are no joints between the flanges and the body. The design eliminates two joints and two gaskets. The new design provides improved bolted joints with less possibility of leaks.

The new 388-7041 Air Shutoff Gp replaces the original 150-7891 Air Shutoff Gp for the engines that are listed above.
The new air shutoff is adaptable to the above engines back to first production. The new air shutoff is effective with the serial numbers that are listed in Table 1.
