- 拆下机油加注口盖，并检查油尺。 将油位保持在油尺 (1) 上的"加（ADD）"标记 (Y) 和 "满（FULL）"标记 (X) 之间。 向曲轴箱加注加油时，不要超过 "FULL（满）"标记 (X)。
- 如需选择正确类型的发动机油，请参阅操作和保养手册, "液体推荐"。
- 清洁机油滤清器加注口盖。 安装机油滤清器加注口盖。
- 记下加注的机油量。 包括自上一次取样以来加注的总机油量，以提供最准确的机油分析。

如果曲轴箱中的机油量超过机油油位计(油尺)上的"满(FULL)"标记，发动机就可能会损坏。 曲轴箱注油过量能使曲轴浸在机油中。 这将降低发出的功率，还迫使空气泡进入机油中。这些气泡(泡沫)会造成下列问题： 降低机油的润滑能力, 降低机油压力, 冷却不充分, 机油从曲轴箱呼吸器处涌出 and 更多的机油消耗量。 机油的过度消耗将在活塞上和燃烧室中形成积碳。燃烧室中的积碳会导致下列问题： 气门形成冲蚀槽, 活塞环后积碳堆积 and 缸套磨损。 如果机油油位高于油尺上的"满(FULL)"标记，立即放掉一些机油。 |
