A New Wiring Harness Is Used On Certain Commercial Engines {1408, 1900}

Usage:

C32 B2C
Industrial Engine:
C7 (S/N: JTF1-UP)
C9 (S/N: JSC1-UP)
Petroleum Engine:
C32 (S/N: B2C1-UP)
C7 (S/N: C7P1-UP)

Description of Change: A new wiring harness is now used on certain commercial engines. The new harness is longer than the previous wiring harness. This helps to ensure that none of the terminals on the harness are damaged at the Electronic Control Module (ECM) interface connector.

Adaptable To:

(3) 375-2791 Control Harness As

The new 373-2789 Control Harness As replaces the current 281-9195 Control Harness As on C7 and C9 engines. Also, the 373-2790 Bracket must be replaced, if a new control harness is ordered for C7 and C9 engines. The new 375-2791 Control Harness As replaces the current 281-9195 Control Harness As on the C32 engines. The harness is adaptable back to the first production of the engine.

The change is effective at the factory with the serial numbers that are listed in Table 1.
