Exhaust Outlet Nitrogen Oxide Sensor - Replace

- Remove bolts from cover plate and remove cover plate (1).
- Disconnect harness assembly and disconnect sensor cabling (2).
- Remove outlet NOx sensor probe (3).
- Remove bolts, spacers, and outlet NOx sensor ECU from mounting plate. Take precaution when handling and storing the spacers.
- If necessary, remove bolts, nuts, and sensor cable mounting bracket.
- Install bolts, spacers, and outlet NOx sensor ECU to the mounting plate.

Illustration 2 g02715050 - Install outlet NOx sensor probe. Take precautions to prevent damaging the ceramic sensor element (4) when installing.
- Connect harness assembly and cabling.
- Install cover plate and bolts. Refer to Specifications, SENR3130, "Torque Specifications" for the proper torque.
