- Disconnect the negative battery terminal at the battery.

Illustration 2 g02259034 - Remove bolts (1) and position plate (2) out of the way.
- Loosen allen head screw (3). Remove nut (4). Disconnect harness assembly (5) from engine control module (6).
- Remove studs (7), nuts (8), the washers, and the isolation mounts.
- Remove engine control module (6).
- Remove bolts (9) and bracket (10).

- Install engine control module (6) in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten allen head screw (3) to a torque of
7 ± 2 N·m (62 ± 18 lb in) .
- Tighten allen head screw (3) to a torque of
