Usage:
All Hydraulic Systems Using Individual Paper-Type Elements
If the hydraulic system becomes contaminated for any reason, use the appropriate fire resistant filter element to clean up the system until the element change interval has expired. This applies to any system using the paper-type (non spin-on) elements. The fire resistant elements have smaller openings than the standard elements, and will remove 95% of particles seven microns or larger. The fire resistant elements will pass as much or more fluid volume as the standard elements, and will remove particles much smaller than the standard elements.
When the fire resistant filter element has been used through one change period, replace it with the standard element.
The chart lists the fire resistant elements that correspond to the standard elements.
