New Shaft Assembly And Lever Assembly Used In Air Shut-Off Group{7418,1078}

3512 ( 24Z, 49Y, 50Y );
3516 ( 25Z, 27Z, 29Z, 71Z, 72Z, 73Z ) Engines

Description of Change: A new shaft assembly and lever assembly are used in the air shut-off group. The new shaft assembly and lever assembly are heat treated to higher harness for better wear characteristics and longer service life.

Adaptable To: The new 7E2889 Shaft Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 7W0081 Shaft Assembly which has been canceled. The new 7E2891 Lever Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 7W0082 Lever Assembly which is canceled. The new shaft assembly and lever assembly are effective with 3512 (24Z2498, 49Y526, 50Y800); 3516 (25Z1477, 27Z669, 29Z899, 71Z278, 72Z376, 73Z267) Engines. When used together, the lever assembly and shaft assembly are adaptable to earlier engines with the same serial number prefix.
