Exhaust Manifold Gasket Removed From Between Exhaust Sleeve And Manifold Section{1059}

The 7N4903 Manifold Gasket has been removed from between the 7N4902 Exhaust Sleeve and the manifold section. The surfaces of the exhaust sleeve and the manifold sections are sufficiently flat to provide sealing capability under normal service conditions.
NOTE: This change affects only engines without water cooled exhaust systems.
The effective serial numbers of this change are: 1ZF1, 23Z1343, 24Z2164, 25Z1197, 27Z661, 28Z622, 3YF1, 4XF1, 49Y518, 51Y541, 54Z215, 65Z658, 67Z612, 68Z733, 70Z602, 71Z270, 73Z240, 95Y691, 96Z395, 97Y666, 99W1109.
Engines built after these serial numbers will be assembled without the 7N4903 Gasket. The gasket is available as a parts service item.
