Damper Groups Improved To Help Prevent Leaks Of Viscous Fluids{1205}
Usage:
3500 Family Of Engines
Description of Change: The 584 mm (23") diameter damper groups have been improved on the 3500 Family Of Engines. The disc and plugs formerly used, have been replaced with sealing rivets. See the illustration. The pipe plugs in the damper are now coated with a sealant. These improvements will help prevent the viscous fluid in the dampers from leaking out.
Location of the sealing rivets and pipe plugs with sealant.
Adaptable To: The part numbers of the improved 7C9639, 7C9640, and 7C9641 Damper Groups have not changed. All the above damper groups in the parts system have been improved.
