Description of Change: A new oil seal is used in the auxiliary water pump groups used on the above engines and machines. The new seal has hydrodynamic grooves and is similar to the crankshaft seal. The new seal will help prevent oil from leaking around the pump shaft.
Location of the new 9X4594 Seal.
Adaptable To: The new 9X4594 Seal is a direct replacement for the former 9H8839, 8C5236, or 2P6286 Seals in the 5N5978 and 9Y8176 Auxiliary Water Pump Groups used on the above engines and machines.
