Splash Shields Added To Caterpillar Fuel Injection Test Bench{0652}
Usage:
Description of Change: Two splash shields have been added to the Caterpillar fuel injection test bench. Formerly, when some high delivery pumps were tested at high rpm, it was possible for the test fluid to be splashed (thrown) over the sides of the collector troughs.
The new shields have spring clips that are used to install the shields on top of the collector troughs (see the illustration).
Adaptable To: The 6V2039 Splash Shields have been installed at the factory on fuel injection test benches with Serial Numbers 1301-up. The splash shields can be ordered for installation on earlier test benches.
