Usage:
There are several thousand 6.25" bore marine and petroleum engines (D375, D398, D399) operating around the world. Many have reached an age where repowering with an engine from the 3500 Family offers more economy than rebuilding. Engines in the 3500 Family come in a wide range of speeds and power ratings, and are more fuel efficient.
To assist users and dealers in making the right decision in this regard, performance specifications and installation information for marine applications are in Engine Data Sheet (EDS) No. 163.4, November 1986, Form LEKM6350. For petroleum engines, use EDS No. 163.5, April 1987, Form LEKW7176.
