Usage:

The new 1U8761 Portable Hydraulic Tester is designed to be easily installed in a hydraulic circuit so that flow, pressure, temperature, and rpm can be readily checked. It can be used for troubleshooting or setting a hydraulic circuit to specifications. The tester can be used in-line as well as in a tee test operation. The unit is capable of bi-directional flow measurement. The 1U8761 Portable Hydraulic Tester is selfcontained and can easily be connected with hoses into a hydraulic circuit. The flow ports on the tester are 1 5/16" SAE O-ring. 1 5/16" SAE O-ring fittings are available from Caterpillar.

The 1U8761 Portable Hydraulic Tester covers a flow range 15-400 L/min (4-100 gpm) in two ranges. The high scale range is 0-400 L/min (0-100 gpm) and the low scale range is 0-80 L/min (0-25 gpm). The tester has a dual scale pressure gauge, 0-400 bar and (0-6000 psi). The unit has a temperature range of 10-120°C (50-250°F). The unit is powered by two "D" cell batteries and one 9 volt battery.

The tachometer function of the 1U8761 Portable Hydraulic Tester requires a 6V3136 Pickup and a 6V2198 Cable Assembly to operate. The tachometer has a range of 0-10,000 rpm.
