Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

  1. Install new seals (19) from Tooling (B) to cores (14).

  2. Install seals (17) from Tooling (C) to top radiator tank (16). Use Tooling (A) in order to lubricate seals (17).

  3. Install seals (18) from Tooling (C) to bottom radiator tank (15). Use Tooling (A) in order to lubricate seals (18).

  4. Install radiator cores (14) to top radiator tank (16) of the radiator assembly.

  5. Install bottom radiator tank (15) to the radiator assembly.

  6. Loosely install bolts and new locking nuts (12) and then install bolts and new locking nuts (13) to the bottom radiator tank.

  7. Install support bracket (21) from the radiator assembly. Loosely install bolts and new locking nuts (20).

  8. Tighten bolts and locking nuts (12) and then tighten bolts and locking nuts (13) to a torque of 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

    Note: The bottom radiator tank should be square to the radiator assembly on tightening of the bolts and locking nuts.

  9. Tighten bolts and locking nuts (20) to a torque of 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

  10. Install the air to air charge cooler (2) to radiator assembly (1).

  11. Install bolts (10) and bolts (11) (not shown).

  12. Tighten bolts (10) and bolts (10) to a torque of 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

  13. Position bottom cowling (4) onto radiator assembly (1). Loosely install bolts (3).

  14. Position bottom cowling (9) onto radiator assembly (1). Loosely install bolts (5) (not shown) and bolts (6).

  15. Loosely install bolts (7) (not shown) and bolts (8).

  16. Tighten bolts (5) (not shown), bolts (6), bolts (7) (not shown), and bolts (8) to a torque of 9 N·m (80 lb in).

End By:

  1. Install the radiator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator - Install".
