Radiator - Disassemble

Usage:

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the radiator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator - Remove".

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

  1. Place the front face of radiator assembly (1) onto a suitable support.

  2. Remove bolts (5) (not shown) and bolts (6).

  3. Remove bolts (3) from air to air charge cooler (2). Remove top cowling (4) for the fan.

  4. Remove bolts (7) (not shown) and bolts (8). Remove bottom cowling (9) for the fan.

  5. Remove bolts (10) and bolts (11) (not shown).

  6. Remove the air to air charge cooler (2) from radiator assembly (1).

  7. Remove bolts and locking nuts (12). Removed bolts and locking nuts (13). Remove bottom radiator tank (15).

  8. Remove bolts and locking nuts (20) and remove support bracket (21) from the radiator assembly.

  9. Remove radiator cores (14) from top radiator tank (16) and the radiator assembly.

  10. Remove seals (18) from bottom radiator tank (15). Remove seals (17) from top radiator tank (16).

  11. Remove seals (19) from radiator cores (14).
