Control System - Remove and Install - M.C.S Panel

- The engine can have the ability to auto start. Ensure that the power supply is isolated before any service or repairs is performed.
- Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Illustration 1 g01735113 - Disconnect wiring harness (1), wiring harness (3) and wiring harness (4) from the panel (5).
- Disconnect wiring harness (2) from the panel (5).

Illustration 2 g01735114 - Remove bolts and remove the cover from bracket (15) that covers the wiring harness assemblies.
- Disconnect cable assemblies (6) from the switch.
- Disconnect harness assembly (7) and harness assembly (8) from the solenoids.
- Disconnect harness assembly (9) and harness assembly (10).
- Loosen allen head bolt (12) and disconnect harness assembly (11) from the electronic control module.
- Loosen allen head bolt (13) and disconnect harness assembly (14) from the electronic control module.
- Remove nuts and bolts (15) and remove bracket assembly (16).

- Remove panel (18) from base frame (19).
Note: The panel should be supported as the bolts are removed.

- Position panel (17) onto base frame (19).
- Install the nuts and bolts (18) to base frame (19). Tighten the nuts and bolts to a torque of
44 N·m (33 lb ft) .Note: The panel should be supported as the bolts are Installed.

44 N·m (33 lb ft) . - Connect harness assembly (11) to the electronic control module. Use Tooling (A) to tighten allen head bolt (12) to a torque of
5 N·m (44 lb in) .Note: Care must be taken in order to avoid damage to the connector pins during installation of the harness.
- Connect harness assembly (14) to the electronic control module. Use Tooling (A) to tighten allen head bolt (13) to a torque of
5 N·m (44 lb in) .Note: Care must be taken in order to avoid damage to the connector pins during installation of the harness.
- Connect cable assemblies (6) to the switch.
- Connect harness assembly (7) and harness assembly (8) to the solenoids.
- Connect harness assembly (9) and harness assembly (10).
- Install the cover to bracket (15) that covers the wiring harness assembly. Install bolts and tighten bolts securely.

- Connect wiring harness (2) to panel (5).
- Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
