5P8700 Lifting Brackets Permit Cylinder Head Assembly To Be Removed And Installed{0644,1100}
Usage:
3408 and 3412 Engines In All Applications
The 5P8700 Lifting Bracket is used to remove and install the cylinder head assembly for 3408 and 3412 Engines (Illustration 1). Two lifting brackets are needed so the cylinder head assembly can be removed and installed at approximately the angle at which it sits on the cylinder block. This makes it possible to remove or install the cylinder head assembly in a narrow engine compartment. Use two S1618 Bolts to fasten each lifting bracket to the cylinder head assembly (Illustration 2).
