3408 and 3412 Industrial Engines
Description of Change: A clip, nut and bolt are used to keep an air compressor oil line away from the exhaust manifold on 3408 and 3412 Industrial Engines. The clip is fastened to the timing gear housing with a bolt that is installed into an existing hole. This change in location can prevent possible heat damage to the oil line.
Location of parts.
Adaptable To: All earlier engines equipped with air compressors, except those engines also equipped with alternator mounting groups.
