3600 Family Of Engines Equipped With 3161 Governors
Description of Change: A new gerotor pump group is used in 3161 Governors on the 3600 Family of Engines. The new pump group uses a key to drive the inner rotor of the gerotor oil pump group, while the former oil pump used a pin to drive the inner rotor. The new gerotor oil pump group is stronger and it will provide extended service life.

Adaptable As: The new 9Y1588 Gerotor Oil Pump Group is a direct replacement for the former 7C3982 Gerotor Oil Pump Group in 3161 Governors on the 3600 Family of Engines.
