New Gaskets Used In Valve Mechanism Cover Group{1107,1120}

Description of Change: New gaskets are used in the valve mechanism cover group used on 3204 Engines in all applications. Engine compartment heat could cause the former gaskets to become brittle. The new valve cover and base gaskets are made of a different material that resists heat better than the former gaskets. The new gaskets will prevent oil leaks around the valve cover and base.

Adaptable As: The new 7C7955 Cover Gasket and 7C7956 Base Gasket are direct replacements for the former 1W939 Cover Gasket and 9L7490 Base Gasket, respectively, in the 1W1352 Valve Mechanism Cover Group on 3204 Engines.

Location of the new 7C7955 Cover Gasket and 7C7956 Base Gasket in the 1W1352 Valve Mechanism Cover Group.
