Description of Change: The wiring harness for the turbocharger compressor outlet pressure sensor has been relocated from the first stage of the aftercooler to the junction of the first stage and the second stage. This rerouting will help to prevent damage to the wiring from high temperatures.
Adaptable To: This change only applies to the above engines that have a turbocharger compressor outlet pressure sensor. Engines that have been built since 17December 2007 were built with the new routing.
Reroute the wiring harness for the turbocharger compressor outlet pressure sensor on engines with the serial numbers that are listed in Table 1.
Reroute the wiring harness along the aftercooler at the junction of the first stage and second stage. The four arrows in Illustration 1 show the new location for the wiring harness to be secured to the engine. Use the existing bolts and ladder clips in order to change the location of the wiring harness.
