Description Of Change: New rear axle trunnions support now used on certain 950 GC Medium Wheel Loaders. The new rear axle trunnion support is more durable and will extend the service life of the machine.
Adaptable To: The improved rear axle trunnions support is adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers S/N:M5K100-1454.

Note: Lubricate the whole rear trunnion support group, through the lubrication hole on the cover, after assembly, until grease purge out the lip seal.
Note: Tighten bolts (2) to a specified torque of

- Replace existing trunnion support with new trunnion support (6).
- Replace existing cover with new cover (7) using bolts (4) and washers (3).
- Replace existing thrust plate with new thrust plate (8) using bolts (2) and washers (1).
- Install lip seal (5).
Note: The lube hole position has changed from the top of the trunnion support to the back of the cover. The lube hose must be rerouted, the red line is the old style, and the blue line is the new routing as shown in illustration 2

- Reroute the hose as shown in Illustration 3.

- Install trunnion support (1) using existing hardware.
- Reinstall the cover, using bolts (2), washers (3), and seal (4).
Note: Be sure to grease all parts prior to installation.
- Torque bolts (2) to
160 ± 30 N·m (118 ± 22 lb ft) .
