Cooling Fan Is Always ON
This procedure is only applicable to applications that have a remotely driven cooling fan.

Complete the procedure in the order in which the steps are listed.

Result: The parameters are not programmed to allow the fan to operate. Repair: The ECM is not controlling the cooling fan. Use the electronic service tool to program the required cooling fan parameters. Result: The parameters are programmed to allow the fan to operate. Repair: The ECM is controlling the cooling fan. Refer to Troubleshooting, "Cooling Fan Control - Test" to troubleshoot the cooling fan. |
