Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

a. Remove the steering valve (HMU).

1. Remove bolts (2) and manifold (1).

3. Remove backup ring (4).

4. Remove O-ring seals (5) and (6).

5. Remove bolts (7) and valve assembly (8).

6. Remove connector (15), O-ring seal (12), spring (11), spool (10), and spring (9).

7. Remove connector (13) and O-ring seal (14).

8. Remove O-ring seals (16), springs (17), balls (18), and seats (19).

12. Remove plug (26), O-ring seal (27), stem (28), spring (29), ball (30), and seat (31). Repeat for the remaining plug.

13. Remove bolts (34) and cover (33). Remove O-ring seal (32)

14. Remove bolt (42), washer (41), spring retainer (40), spring (39), spacer (38), retainer (37), shims (36), and stem (35).
