Hoses for the A/C have been failing on certain L and M Series Wheel Loaders. The most common failure mode is a rupture of the hose near the coupling at the A/C condenser core.

Caterpillar is aware of this problem, and an interim fix has been defined. New A/C hoses are available to replace the current hoses.

Inspect the machine for A/C hose leaks. If the machine appears to have an A/C hose leak, verify the source of the leak and replace with the new part number.
