Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the axle oil cooler pump and motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Axle Oil Cooler Pump and Motor (Rear) - Remove".

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned.

1. Remove nuts (1). Remove plate (2).

2. Remove bolts (4). Separate pump (3) and motor (5).

5. Remove retaining ring (8).

7. Separate housings (11) and (12).

8. Remove O-ring seal (13). Remove pressure plate (14). Remove shaft assemblies (15).

9. Remove seal (16) from pressure plate (14).

10. Remove remaining pressure plate (17).

13. Remove seal (22). Note orientation of pressure plate for installation purposes. Remove pressure plate (24). Remove shaft assemblies (23).
