(2) Wiring harnesses

(1) Lightly lubricate the bore of the adapter for the ignition transformer group with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Note: Apply 4C-9614 Silicone Sealant to the mating face of the harness connector. Install the connector within ten minutes in order to avoid hardening before the seal has been made.

Note: Align the connector with the notch in the uppermost position.

(3) Spark plug

Torque for spark plug ... 26 ± 4 N·m (19 ± 3 lb ft)
Electrode gap ... 0.28 ± 0.03 mm (0.011 ± 0.001 inch)

(7) Front face of the cylinder block

Note: Secure the harness assembly to the support rod assembly by Installing the cable strap (4) at three locations in each support rod (5) that is shown in Illustration 3.

(4) Locate tiewrap strap head on the back side of the clip (6) that is shown in Illustration 2 in order to tighten the cable strap.

(5) Remove all the labels from support rods and harness assembly before installation.
