The Firing Order has Changed for New Engines {1000}

Usage:

3512C SLM
Engine:
3512C (S/N: SLM1-UP; TTC1-UP; TTE1-UP; TTF1-UP; TTG1-UP)

The firing order has changed for the above new 3512C Engines in order to provide the following benefits:

  • Maximize the capability of the engine.

  • Extend the service life of the engine.

The valve lash and the firing order sequence has been changed for the left bank only.

The timing slot in the camshaft has been moved 180 degrees in the rear left hand camshaft segment. The front right hand segment will also require the same change for the timing slot on reverse rotation engines.

The new firing order is the following:

  • 1-2-9-10-5-6-11-12-3-4-7-8
