New Water Temperature Regulators Available {1355}

Usage:

3208 Engines In All Applications

Description of Change: A new, higher temperature low leakage regulator is available for the 3208 Engine, if desired, in place of the standard 9N5121 Regulator (180°F) used in production in most applications. The new temperature regulator has a higher temperature opening of 190°F as compared to 180°F of the former low leakage temperature regulator. The higher opening temperature will improve cab heater efficiency.

Adaptable To: The new 7C3472 Temperature Regulator is used in the 4W643 Service Group as a direct replacement for the former low leakage 4W160 Regulator.

NOTE: Adaptability of the new temperature regulator in shuttered applications requires a higher temperature sensor for the shutters and/or the fan clutches.
