Radiator Core - Remove and Install

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the bottom guard.
  2. Remove the hood and dust ejector.
  3. Remove the fan.

  1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System (ELC) Coolant - Change" for the proper draining and filling procedures.

  1. Use two people to remove grill assembly (1) .

  1. Disconnect hose assemblies (3), (4), and (5) from water tank (2) .

  1. Remove water tank (2) .

  1. Loosen clamps (7) and reposition the hose.

  1. Remove bracket (6) and the spacer.

  1. Remove hoses (8) and the adapters. Remove bolts (9) .

  1. Use two people to tilt and remove radiator core (10) .

  1. Repeat Steps 5 through 8 to remove the other radiator core.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install radiator core (10) in the reverse order of removal.
