A new motor group is now used on certain 963D Track-Type Loaders. The new motor group has improved service life by adding an inbound retaining ring (3) to shaft seal (2). The addition of inbound retaining ring (3) helps to prevent leaks from the shaft seal.
Adaptable To:
Note: The former 243-6645 Piston Motor Gp and the new 457-7511 Piston Motor Gp are only interchangeable with each other on machines at the group part number level. However, the changes in respective shaft seal / retaining ring configurations are such that the individual component part numbers are not interchangeable between respective motors. Each motor housing (not serviceable) is machined differently in order to accommodate respective shaft seal / retaining ring configurations.The new 457-7511 Piston Motor Gp is a direct replacement for the former 243-6645 Piston Motor Gp .
The new 457-7511 Piston Motor Gp is adaptable to the following machines:

- 963D (S/N: LCS2409-UP)
