Modification of Product Link Field Installation Kit Harness is Required to Match the Standard Machine Harness on Certain D3K, D4K, and D5K Small Track-Type Tractors {1408, 7606}

Usage:

D3K XL FFF
Track-Type Tractor:
D3K (S/N: JTD1-UP; FFF1-UP; LLL1-UP)
D4K (S/N: MMM1-UP; RRR1-UP)
D5K (S/N: JLF1-UP; WWW1-UP; YYY1-UP)

Two options to consider when using a Product Link field installation kit (370-7005 Communication-Kit (Satellite, PL321SR) or 370-7006 Communication-Kit (Cellular, PL522)) to make the correct interface between the machine standard platform harness and the Product Link control.

Option 1 - When using the 333-1448 Control Harness As (universal harness) from the field installation kit, reposition certain pinouts in the Product Link field installation kit universal harness, 12-pin connector (GW-C1), that connects to "CONN 20" in the standard machine platform harness as shown in Table 1.

Table 1
Product Link Pinout On Field Installation Kit Universal Harness at WP-C1 Connector
Pin Number     Wire Number     Reposition Pinouts
Pin 1     125     No Change
Pin 2     202     To Pin 6
Pin 3     308     To Pin 5
Pin 4     403     No Change
Pin 5     893     To Pin 2
Pin 6     892     To Pin 3
Pin 7     F711     No Change
Pin 8     F712     No Change

Option 2 - Procure 249-9035 Control Harness As from parts system and use in place of the 333-1448 Control Harness As (universal harness) supplied in the field installation kit.
