Description of Change: Different crankshaft main bearings and connecting rod bearings are now used. The aluminium alloy in the new bearings is of a higher strength. Also, the bond (method to fasten) between the aluminum alloy and the steel is stronger.
Adaptable As: Direct replacement. In the chart that follows, the undersize dimension (U.S.) is in reference to the inner diameter of the bearing and the oversize (O.S.) dimension is in reference to the outer diameter of the bearing.
