Improved Shaft Seal Material Used In All Vane-Type Hydraulic Pumps; Seal Kits Are Canceled{5055}

Usage:

All machines with Vane-Type Hydraulic Pumps

Description of Change: New seals are used on the shaft for vane-type hydraulic pumps. The rubber material in the new seals will keep its normal hardness at a higher temperature than the former rubber material. The new seal will prevent leaks caused by the rubber material getting hard because of heat.

The kits for vane-type hydraulic pumps are now canceled and the seals are available separately. The seal kits had two shaft seals, but the second shaft seal was not needed for the earlier pumps which used only one shaft seal.

Adaptable As: Direct replacement. The chart gives the diameter of the pump shaft where the seal is installed.
