New Exhaust Manifolds Made Of Stronger Material{1059}

D343 Industrial Engines ( 62B)
Description of Change: Some conditions of operation have caused a problem of cracks in the exhaust manifolds on D343 Industrial Engines (62B). To prevent this problem, new exhaust manifolds have been released for these engines. The new manifolds are made of ductile iron for more strength, and have larger radii in the locations where cracks have been found.
Adaptable As: Direct replacement. The new manifolds are released as a parts service replacement for the former manifolds, and can be installed on all earlier D343 Industrial Engines.
