Correct Installation Procedure for the 235-1448 Tube As {1304, 1306}
- Engine:
- C11 (S/N: KCA1-UP)
- C13 (S/N: KCB1-UP)
Oil leaks may occur if the 235-1448 Tube As is not properly aligned. Use the following procedure in order to install the 235-1448 Tube As .
- First, install the 235-1448 Tube As into the oil filter base. This will allow the correct alignment of the 235-1448 Tube As to the bore in the oil filter base.
Note: A slight adjustment to the position of the oil filter base may be necessary in order to achieve correct alignment of the tube.
- Next, tighten the bolts at the base of the 235-1448 Tube As. Tighten the bolts to 28 ± 7 N·m (21 ± 5 lb ft).
