Speed Sensor - Clean/Inspect

Typical speed sensor | |
- Remove the speed sensor from the flywheel housing. Check the condition of the end of the speed sensor. Check for signs of wear and contaminants.
- Clean the metal shavings and other debris from the face of the magnet.
- Install the speed sensor according to the information in the Service Manual, "Specifications".
